He did not have to do this, but he did it anyway. God the Father laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all; and Jesus, God the Son, took upon Himself the responsibility of paying the penalty for our sin. As the Apostle Paul put it, "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him" (II Corinthians 5:21).

Dear Parents, We here at Dover Hill Church would like to introduce you to our new program, Kid Adventures starting on August 7th. This program will be taking the place of The Awana Club. Kid Adventures will be meeting the needs of your child just like the Awana Program. This year we have created an electronic registration form and we encourage you to fill it out. It includes enough spots for several kids and has been added to the bottom of this email. We here at Dover Hill Kid Adventures understand that once school starts life can get hectic so we encourage you to fill this out as soon as you can. We are having a contest, every kid that gets their registration form back to us before or on August 7th will have their name placed in a drawing for a prize. Even if you have filled one out in the past, we need an updated one for our records. We also use this information to get in contact with you in case of an emergency, lets us know if your child has any allergies or medical conditions that we should know about. Also allows us to administer Tylenol or ibuprofen if you choose. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at this email address or 812-709-9375 (by text or phone call). Scott, Our dear friend, and brother, unexpectedly passed away a few days ago. This was his last special he did at Dover Hill Christian church on 3-11-2018, just 4 days before we got the tragic news. He is already so sadly missed, and I am so glad I recorded him, which turned out to be his final " Special Music". What a blessing.
